Top 10 Questions Customers&Partners Asked About Next-Gen DLP
Understanding what matters most to our customers and partners is at the core of how we improve CyberServal’s Next-Gen DLP (DDR). During our recent webinar, we collected the Top 10 Most Frequently Asked Questions—covering technology capabilities, market expansion, pricing models, competitive differentiation, real-world adoption, and partner enablement.
These questions represent the themes our ecosystem cares about the most. Whether you’re evaluating DDR, comparing vendors, or exploring partnership opportunities, this recap highlights the shared concerns and priorities across the data-security community.
You may find that many of these questions are the same ones your team is currently discussing—so feel free to continue the conversation with us.
DDR Capability
1. Does DDR have the OCR detection capability?
We know that if people want to send a picture from their laptop, DDR has OCR skills, which will help people know the picture's details. Such as if you do the screenshots, or even if you download the picture to your PC. We can use the OCR skills to detect the picture content. If they include some sensitive words or sensitive data, then you follow the rules in DDR and detect it. And you can also set the different response actions like audio log, approve, and so on.

2. How about the integration with SIEM capability?
CyberServal DDR rapidly scans and catalogs all data assets, mapping sensitive data at its
source—across endpoints, storage, and applications. When data is altered, DDR tracks real-time flow and transformations, logging actions like copy, zip, encrypt, upload, and enforcing policies at every stage.Syncs with LDAP/AD to link actions to specific users or departments. It matches employee and device identities, monitoring access via USB, IM, browsers, and LAN.
3. Is the agent heavy? How much memory does it consume?
DDR is designed to be lightweight:
- Windows installer is under 50 MB
- Runtime memory footprint is typically under 100 MB
- Performance consumption can be fine-tuned from the server side
We support Windows, macOS and Linux, enabling consistent policy enforcement across all major platforms.

We are currently in communication with agents and partners in these countries, and we hope to communicate more with them to learn more about our CyberServe and our products.
5. How does your pricing model look like? Can customers purchase DLP + Consulting services together at the same time?
At present, our pricing system is established by our business colleagues based on the customer's situation, and we can cooperate with our company's business colleagues specifically. At present, our consulting services mainly provide quotations based on the client's situation. In addition, many of the cases we have implemented have combined consulting services with our DDR for purchase.
6. How complex is the onboarding for new resellers?
7. Do you provide localized sales/technical materials for partners?
At present, joining our new retailer will be very simple, mainly through communication with our business colleagues and signing cooperation agreements. We have developed a relatively complete cooperation agreement, which can be consulted with our business colleagues for details. In addition, we will provide market promotion, sales, and technical support for local partners, and actively support our partners to provide corresponding business opportunities. 8. How does CyberServal compare against Zscaler/Proofpoint or DSPM-focused players like Cyera?
Data Security Condition Management (DSPM) is a network security technology used to identify sensitive data in multiple cloud environments and services, assess their vulnerability to security threats and non-compliance risks. DDR mainly focuses on terminal data security management, and currently we mainly focus on the behavior and classification of data security in computer terminals, combined with desktop management and compliance control functions.
